Dr. Seth Winterton is originally from Utah but has lived in California, Texas, Canada, Nevada, and Iowa. He is happily married to his wife, Stephanie, with whom they share 4 boys together. He attended medical school at the University of Nevada, School of Medicine followed by his residency at Utah Valley Hospital in Provo, UT. He and his family then moved to a small rural town in Iowa to practice full-spectrum Family Medicine. There he gained invaluable experience practicing in a busy clinic while also taking care of hospitalized and obstetric/newborn patients. He also frequently worked in the Emergency department where he mastered the ability to recognize problems and treat them promptly. He is incredibly knowledgeable in the diagnosis and treatment of many medical conditions, but feels that by listening to his patients’ concerns, that is truly where trust and meaningful relationships are built. Through his years of experience delivering babies and caring for newborns, he has grown fond of pediatrics but welcomes patients of all ages. Dr. Winterton enjoys weightlifting, wakeboarding, wake surfing, hunting, fishing, riding dirt bikes, and spending time with his family. He is also a spiritual leader at his local church.
